The latest guidance on how Funerals are to be conducted is that they may still take place but with a minimal number of people attending. These may be in church since or simple Crematorium or Graveside services now and limited to just small family groups. It will be necessary somehow to be able to follow the current guidelines regarding keeping personal distances and avoiding large public gatherings. The best source of information will be your Funeral Director, who will be able to guide you through the planning and arrangements necessary.

Current guidance is that a maximum of 30 people may attend a funeral in Church, and that Face Coverings should be worn in the Church Building unless you are unable to wear one. At other venues the numbers are different.

We are here as well to help so please do contact us if we can help you in any way. We will continue to hold you all in our prayers and to remember those we have recently lost in those same prayers.

If you are unable due to these restrictions to attend a funeral of a friend or loved one then you may find this page useful from the Church of England - click on the title below to go there.
