The latest guidance on how Funerals are to be conducted is that they may still take place but with a minimal number of people attending. These may be in church since 15th. June 2020 or simple Crematorium or Graveside services now and limited to just small family groups. It will be necessary somehow to be able to follow the current guidelines regarding keeping personal distances and avoiding large public gatherings. The best source of information will be your Funeral Director, who will be able to guide you through the planning and arrangements necessary.

Current guidance is that a maximum of 30 people may attend a funeral in Church, and that Face Coverings should be worn in the Church Building unless you are unable to wear one.

We are here as well to help so please do contact us if we can help you in any way. We will continue to hold you all in our prayers and to remember those we have recently lost in those same prayers.

If you are unable due to these restrictions to attend a funeral of a friend or loved one then you may find this page useful from the Church of England - click on the title below to go there.

It is our intention at a later date to hold some form of Memorial Service or Services when we can gather in Church and give thanks for those we have loved and lost. We are not yet sure what form these will take but will probably follow a similar form to those we hold each November for our annual Memorial Service. Individual services may also be possible where appropriate, and we will keep this page up to date with the latest news and proposals in this regard.
